Sept. 30, 2006 Mud Island Memphis, Shelby Co, TN I've posted a photo of a Cave Swallow seen in the company of another Cave and hundreds of Rough-winged Swallows at the mouth of the Wolf River where it flows into the Mississippi River, in Shelby Co. This was my second encounter with this species but the first bird a few years back, cooperated only by letting me photograph it's back. I believe this photo confirms the species. Any comments on ID are welcomed. Years of scanning evidently paid off.
