We (Glen Criswell and myself) have had a number of Cattle Egret sightings of over 2000 on Highway 79 and on the road to Island 13 in Lake County. From August 14-26, 1994, Glen had a roost near Cates (due north of Tiptonville about 4 miles) which had over 2600 Cattle Egrets in it. I think Jeff Wilson also has some large sightings in the Lake-Dyer County area.
