I was very sorry to hear this. I also accompanied her on Trently trips and
welcomed her quiet demeanor and sense of humor. She faithfully served KTOS
as treasurer for many years and was very devoted to birds and the bird
community.

Carole was a great birder. I got to know her in 2006, when I first joined
KTOS. She was patient with me as I learned the birds. We once shared rooms
on a birding trip with David Trently; she was a considerate roommate.
Please share your memories of Carole so we can honor her.
