I just learned that Carole Gobert passed on 1/29. She had been diagnosed with
cancer just three weeks before. In lieu of flowers, the family would like
donations in her honor to Young-Williams or Audubon.
Carole was a great birder. I got to know her in 2006, when I first joined KTOS.
She was patient with me as I learned the birds. We once shared rooms on a
birding trip with David Trently; she was a considerate roommate.
Please share your memories of Carole so we can honor her.
