Today was this fall's second Wednesday Walk at Radnor Lake (Davidson
County). A good group of beginner and experienced birders enjoyed a nice
morning with quite a lot of birds moving around. A complete list is below,
but the highlight was a CAPE MAY WARBLER (quite rare in middle TN in fall)
seen well by everyone at eye level at relatively close range. We also
enjoyed decent looks at a couple of GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSHES and a nice
opportunity to study an EASTERN PHOEBE and EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE in very close
proximity.
Frank Fekel I believe had a BREWSTER'S WARBLER and GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER.
