[TN-Bird] Cades Cove, Blount County

Today was my first day back in Cades Cove since surgery in January.   What a 
great day!  Light fog in morning then clearing and warming to low  60s.  Many 
first of season (FOS) birds because it was my first day in  the Cove this 
spring. Birds seen on or around the sewage ponds are marked by  (SP)

Bufflehead - 105  (SP)
Turkey Vulture - 1

Wilson's Snipe - 10 (SP)
Downy Woodpecker  - 3
Hairy Woodpecker - 1 (SP)
Northern Flicker - 1
Pileated Woodpecker  - 3
Eastern Phoebe - 9
Blue-headed Vireo - 1 FOS
American Crow -  21
Carolina Chickadee - 7
Tufted Titmouse - 12
White-breasted Nuthatch  - 3
Brown Creeper - 1
Carolina Wren - 3
House Wren - 1 FOS
