[TN-Bird] CTOS May Meeting

The May meeting of the Chattanooga Chapter of the Tennessee
Ornithological Society will be held Thursday May 11 ant 7:00pm.  This
month's speakers are John and Dale Stokes of "Save Our American Raptors"
(SOAR).  John and Dale will present a live raptor show featuring a
variety of species of birds of prey that will be flown during the
presentation.  John and Dale's considerable expertise combined with
their live specimens promises to make this an exciting program suitable
for bird enthusiasts of all ages.  So, bring the Kids to this one!  
 

Preceeding the main speaker, Dr. David Aborn, ornithologist from the
University of Tennessee Chattanooga will present the Bird-of-the-Month.
This month's bird is the Field Sparrow.  And, light refreshments will be
served to close the program.  As always, visitors are welcome.  

 

Meetings are held at Ascension Lutheran Church, 720 S. Germantown Rd
(take the Germantown exit from I-24 and go South on Germantown road a
few blocks to the church on your right).  For more information call Dave
