TN-birders, Dollyann and I were in Clinton (Anderson Co.) this afternoon and decided to check out Eagle Bend Fish Hatchery. We found 4 Buff-breasted Sandpipers. This was in the middle of the hatchery grounds. Most of the holding ponds are dry and they were in the grass between two of the ponds. They flew over into one of the dry ponds and were relocated but they are very difficult to spot against the brown earth. The only other species of note there were about 75 Killdeer. Great birding, Ron Hoff and Dollyann Myers Clinton, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net is owned by the Tennessee Ornithological Society Neither the society(TOS) nor its moderator(s) endorse the views or opinions expressed by the members of this discussion group.
