We had a beautiful clear and warm day for our NTOS Fall Count. It was a perfect
day to see a kettle of about 60 Broad-winged Hawks lifting up above ridges of
our Harpeth Valley West route in western Davidson County.
Otherwise it was a very slow day for warblers and other passerine migrants. We
did have a few thrushes in fruiting black gum trees, and a FOS Palm Warbler.
