To the best of my recollection, and Wallace can confirm the dates, my
parents had an Oregon Junco at their feeders in Bluff City in 1972 and 73.
I think it repeated in back to back years. I was in high school and folks
came from all over the state to see it. Of course back then, it was a
species unto itself and a life/state bird for lots of folks.

Johnson City, TN

"Oregon" Dark-eyed Junco - 1, male

Observed on the ground under my feeders.

First I've ever seen in Tenn or elsewhere in the East.
