One to three Brewster's Warblers were located (none were ever heard to sing
or seen at the same time) along with a male Blackpoll Warbler and a
non-singing Magnolia Warbler at Miller Cemetary at the end of Miller
CemetaryRoad. This site is in Carter County on Buck Mountain (from 19E in
Roan Mountain take Buck Mountain Road to Miller Cemetary Road and continue
toits end) outside of the town of Roan Mountain and is owned by the USFS.
The only other Brewster's Warbler known for northeast Tennessee is in
HamptonCreek Cove State Natural Area about 8 miles south of Miller Cemetary
site. Allan Trently, Seasonal Ecologist Southern Appalachian Highlands
Conservancy Gray, TN
