black terrier a couple times the bird was safely on the pond at 5:30 PM
when I departed. The Snow Goose is still present as well. However, bring a
little patience with you as you will surely have to sift through several
domestic ducks and Canada Geese to find the beautiful bird.
The Brant was ABA life bird #407 for me which puts me 1 ahead of Ted
Williams’ batting average (.406) some 76 years ago and about a bazillion
behind the Stoll brothers. Good luck to anyone that takes up the challenge
on Black Friday. As for me, I am going to check on a Greater White-fronted
Goose that was reported in Erwin.
