Dear TN birders,

Hit several spots working on the year list for TN and Bradley Co this am.
Highlights below.

Lauderback Road

3 calling northern bobwhites-this remains a tough bird for the county thanks to
all the feral dogs and cats. One bird was giving the complete call, while the
other two only gave a bob.
summer tanager-hrd

Home Depot

This marsh seems to get better with each passing year. For the 5th straight
year, have recorded willow flycatcher here. This year was the best with a
visual ID and the bird was carrying food. Checking the last 5 years, bird was
recorded once on 5Jun, twice on Jun 6, once on Jun7, and once on Jun24.

South Mouse Creek

osprey-first time to see a pair here, and nesting suspected
orchard oriole-male seen, and nest found, my first
wood duck-10
double-crested cormorant-4
yellow-billed cuckoo-hrd
house wren-hrd-first time at this site
blue grosbeak-hrd

Cleveland Wastewater Facility

yellow-billed cuckoo-hrd-first time at this site
blue grosbeak-male and female
osprey-frist time to record at this site
brown-headed nuthatch-hrd

All in all, a nice morning of birding with 3 new TN yr birds, and 5 new for the
county year.
