For anyone who's interested, the black neck stilt was still on the pond on Phelps Dairy Farm in Blount County Sunday morning, Oct. 17, around 11 a.m. (It's such a treat; I just had to have another look) Driving down Topside Road in Blount County, just before the stop sign at the 333/334 junction, I observed a red tailed hawk on a telephone wire just across Topside from the Hawk Equipment Company. Unfortunately, this was a Sunday so the hawk had to leave without its supplies. (sorry, I just couldn't resist) Carole Gobert Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee _________________________________________________________________ Check out Election 2004 for up-to-date election news, plus voter tools and more! http://special.msn.com/msn/election2004.armx =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net is owned by the Tennessee Ornithological Society Neither the society(TOS) nor its moderator(s) endorse the views or opinions expressed by the members of this discussion group.
