Tuesday afternoon (3/20/18) I observed 2 male and 4 female Common mergansers on
the Little River .01 miles upstream from Camp Wesley Woods.  The males were
actively chasing each other and had some interaction with two of the females.
They flushed and flew downstream.  I continued on Old Walland Highway and saw a
single male merganser 3.1 miles downstream from where the others were seen.
The first location is near where Randy Winstead reported them on Monday.
