The first time I drove by Stilt Pond on Lowe's Ferry Road in Blount County
today it was pouring rain and there was no sign of the 3 American Avocets.
About 20 minutes later (12:20pm) it was raining lightly and they were present,
feeding in the middle of the small pond.
