I had a Black-throated Green Warbler this afternoon along Clark's Creek in southern Washington County. While there, I also found three West Virginia Whites, an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, and a dark swallowtail species. (The bridge over the creek about a mile from Highway 107 is out--another victim, I guess, of the floods in the area last August.) Later in the afternoon, I briefly visited Persimmon Ridge Park in Jonesborough and found four Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, a Winter Wren, another West Virginia White, a Sleepy Duskywing, and a Spring Azure.
