[TN-Bird] Black-bellied Whistlers

On Sunday, I had a couple of USFW people and a researcher from UT over for
a look at shorebirds and habitat, as you would expect it was a little late
for shorebirds but we did manage good looks at 12 species of Wind Birds.
The 24 BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING DUCKS counted Sunday morning at Ensley was
good enough to get me out to survey a few places on Monday afternoon,
producing 46 of these beauties. Ensley Bottoms 26, President's Island 7,
McKellar
Lake 2, Robco 2 and a wet area out from Walls in DeSoto Co, MS - 9. There
is no telling how many are in the area seeing others were recently reported
by Kirschke over at the Hatchie NWR in Haywood Co.
