TN-birders, Dollyann and I went over to Eagle Bend fish hatchery in Anderson Co. this morning to see if the rainy weather brought anything else in. We got lucky yet again. 1 - we looked, but did NOT find the Glossy Ibis we had there a few days ago. 2 - There was a Black-bellied Plover (DA saw the black arm pits in flight) on the lower ponds on the left. My last record for BBPL here was in 1980. other sightings included: Blue-winged teal - 5 Pectoral Sandpiper - 5 Least Sandpiper - 2 Marsh Harrier - 1 (my first ever record for Eagle Bend) American Kestrel - 1 Red-shouldered Hawk - 1 Eastern Meadowlark - 12 Great Birding, Ron Hoff and Dollyann Myers Clinton, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
