Bridgeburners Blvd. (Near Walmart Dist. exit 23 off I-81)
Greene County, TN
April 5, 3:15 - 3:30 Pm

I passed through the flooded Lick Creek area near Walmart Dist. this afternoon
after last nights storms. The water was up to Bridgeburners Blvd. on both
sides.

North side contained a mixture of waterfowl, N. Shovelers, Blue-winged and
Green-winged Teal, Coots, and five Great Egrets. The South side (nearer
Greeneville) had more blue-winged Teal, and a Black-necked Stilt wading at the
edge of the flooded field. I observed it with 8X30 binoculars and could see
the black black , white belly, and black cap fairley well.

Several Tree swallows and a few Barn Swallows were also cruising the area.
