Radnor Lake
Davidson Co.

I only walked the road at Radnor Lake this morning, but had a good
sighting of 2 Black Terns. They were flying low over the lake and picking
stuff
off the surface. Then they flew up several hundred feet over the lake and
appeared to be feeding up there. As I left, they were back down at lake
level and foraging off the surface again. There was also 1 Spotted Sandpiper
on the fallen tree in the water in front of the ranger's house. There
continue to be at least 30 Wood Ducks along the far bank, and today they were
joined by 3 Pied-billed Grebes. And 4 otters swam across the lake together.
