A couple of hours spent on the levee did not yield any of the swallows I was hoping for. The only Hamilton county swallow I have this year is the Tree Swallow seen last week at the Honors Golf Course. Also drove by the Standifer Gap Marsh and hit another few areas without seeing swallows. Saw a couple of Black Ducks while at the levee. This is my first levee sighting of this duck. Everything else there was expected. Also had a few yellowlegs which I think seemed to be greaters because they were larger than the killdeers. Everything else there was expected. It was quite windy and I did not take my 'scope.
