Hello Birders, Three visiting birders from the New River Valley of Virginia dropped by the Washington County Park (Virginia) on South Holston Lake today (12/26), Clyde and Alan Kessler, and Bruce Grimes. There were a few waterbirds there and at the area north of Musick's Campground, including the following: Pied-billed Grebe 10 Eared Grebe 4 Great Blue Heron 1 Canada Goose 21 Ring-necked Duck 1(M) Red-breasted Merganser 2(F) Bonaparte's Gull 2 Ring-billed Gull 34 All were on the Virginia side, though most were close to the line.
