On a whim I decided this morning to go look for the Bewick's Wrens on
Alsup Mill Rd that Terry Witt has posted about (see below). I located
birds at each of the three locations he mentions.

At the first locale (the barn just past the intersection of Alsup
Mill & Rocky Hill) I had to wait about 45 minutes before the bird
began singing. Although I never got great looks because it was often
behind the barn and away from the road, it sang for a good 20 minutes
or more and moved often.

I then drove the short distance to 1133 Alsup Mill Rd—you'll know
you're nearly there when you see the white fence on your left. The
first thing that caught my eye was a dead tree near the side of the
road with a pair of Red-headed Woodpeckers in it. I pulled over to
watch them and then I saw a bird sitting atop the nearby log
smokehouse singing. When I got my bins on it I saw it was a Lark
Sparrow, the first I've seen in TN. The Lark Sparrow eventually flew
a short distance west and began singing again from the top of a
hackberry tree next to a hickory. A few minutes later it flew down to
the field. I then drove slowly past 1133 Alsup Mill with my windows
down and soon heard another singing Bewick's Wren though I never got
a look at it.

At 1360 Alsup Mill Road I once again heard but didn't see a Bewick's
Wren.

I drove back slowly, listening, but didn't hear anything at those
three spots. When I got near to 643 Alsup Mill Rd. (there's a long
gravel driveway that serves several houses) I heard something
intriguing. I pulled in and parked, and there I saw another Lark
Sparrow singing in the small tree on the left side of the driveway.
Two Kingbirds took offense and drove the Lark Sparrow out of the
tree. It landed in the field giving me great looks before it flew
into the trees alongside the road.

This turned out to be a really memorable morning of birding. Thanks
Terry!
