This morning I relocated the Bewick's Wren that Terry Witt recently found = in Murfreesboro. It sang regularly from 9:30-10:15 am in spite of the = windy conditions. Eventually it perched out in the open for some nice = photo opportunities. It went back and forth between the 2 big cedar trees = on the property and the fence by the driveway. The family that lives in = the house at 5512 Lytle Creek Rd let me bird no problem, they just gave me = that "you want to do what" look. =20 Directions to the bird (from Terry's post): Follow Dilton Mankin Road from = US 41 south of Murfreesboro, and turn right at the T on Lytle Creek Road; = at the top of a hill, you will come to a collection of houses and = outbuildings. See picts of the Bewick's Wren and yesterday's Lark Sparrow at: http://www.pbase.com/shoeman/rutherford_co_tn=20 I forgot to mention my first Common Nighthawk at my house in Smyrna, = Rutherford County, on Sunday, 27 April 2008.
