It is with a heavy heart that I post the following information.Betty Reid
Campbell, beloved wife of Jim Campbell has passed away after a ten year battle
with Alzeimer's disease and many other health issues. Betty Reid joined the
Knoxville chapter of TOS in 1978. She participated in hundreds of bird events
over the years and helped lead walks at the Wildflower Pilgrimage in the
Smokies, Dogwood Arts bird walks on Sharps Ridge, and field trips at state
parks. She was a vital part of KTOSand will be missed.The receiving of friends
will be at 1:30 on Wednesday, December 30, the service at 2:30 and private
interment afterwards: all at First United Methodist Church on the O.R.
