Bells Bend

This Tuesday morning I arrived about 8:45 am at the Old
Hickory Blvd area (perhaps 0.3-0.4 mi before the main sod
farm field) in Bells Bend where the HARRIS'S SPARROW
has been seen. I first looked for the AMERICAN TREE SPARROW
that has been previously reported in the same area but did
NOT find it. As I finished my search for that bird Victor
Stoll pulled up carrying a new camera, and we walked the
road toward Bells Bend Park looking mainly on the road
side where the hay bales are. We soon found the small flock
of WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWs and the HARRIS'S SPARROW, which
searched for food for a time atop several of the hay bales.
