Bells Bend
Davidson Co., TN
2017 Dec. 27
8:40 am

This Wednesday morning I went to Bells Bend to check on the HARRIS'S
SPARROW. Given the very chilly conditions, I was fortunate to find
it within about 10 minutes of arrival. It was in the usual area,
along the roadside in the tall weeds near the 2 gray farm buildings.
At the horse field across form the main sod farm field, the large
"pond" area held 40+ MALLARDs and 2 NORTHERN PINTAILs. Three
WILSON'S SNIPE also flew in to the edge of the pond.
