My thanks to all who have continued to post updates on the Cinnamon Teal
(and all rarities); it made finding a new state bird yesterday so easy I
almost felt guilty!

Briefly checked the wet area in the horse field across from the main sod
farm field. Eight BLUE-WINGED TEAL and the male CINNAMON TEAL were still
feeding in the wet pond area near the road. There were also 2 MALLARDs
and 2 GADWALL. After leaving the teal, I found a VESPER SPARROW
a bit farther up the road in the area where the HARRIS'S SPARROW has
been seen, but I did NOT find the HARRIS'S SPARROW.
