[TN-Bird] Bank Swallow - Bells Bend (Davidson Co.)

Today while walking along the road between the nature center and Cleece's Ferry 
I heard an unfamiliar twittering call and found two Bank Swallows on a power 
line. Both showed a breast band but one had less crisp coloration and appeared 
to be engaged in a begging behavior. From what I understand Bank Swallows are 
colonial nesters and this is outside their range (but not by much), so this 
sighting seems atypical. I'm curious if anyone has experience with Bank 
Swallows and can comment.
 
For what it's worth, Northern Rough-winged, Cliff, Barn and Tree Swallows and 
Purple Martins are regularly seen here, and the Rough-winged and Cliff are 
quite numerous.
