Hi all, Yesterday afternoon I had a Baltimore Oriole visit my woods at home. The orange of his belly was glowing the way sun hit it. Last year's date for Summer Tanagers in my yard was April 14 so I have been looking and waiting. A male Cardinal has been flying from tree to tree singing his heart out. I would see a flash of red and hope to see the tanager. About 7 o'clock last night I got my wish, both a male and female. Glad to have you back, red bird!
