As I was driving to town on Kimberlin Heights Road near Burnett Creek Road, I
saw a big bird checking out some roadkill. I was thrilled and surprised when it
flew and I saw it was an adult Bald Eagle. This spot is at least a couple of
miles from the nearest body of water.
