The Bald Eagle nest near Cinder Road near Old Hickory dam is now completely
gone. eagles have been nesting hear for at least the 11 years I have been
aware of it, but not this year, although they were roosting there for most of
the fall and early winter. I first noticed it was damaged in the fall when the
lack of foliage allowed it to be seen from the road. About half of the nest was
gone yet that part remained until earlier this week.
