Have recently enjoyed several backyard visits from Wild Turkeys in the
area. I live in South Knox County on the edge of Sevier County line--hills,
some fields in area, lots of wooded ravines, yard is situated in
neighborhood with broken wooded areas.
In past two weeks, several visits from mixed groups, up to fourteen
counted, of females and sub-adult males foraging across the backyard and
around to the front and back to wooded areas for cover.
Fun watching them and have had a couple of opportunities to photograph
them. Published a blog post this am with images.
