Subject: [TN-Bird] BROWN BOOBY on TN River!!!
October 20, 2016
TN River, Benton/Humphreys Counties
Ruben Stoll just sent a message saying that he had found an immature BROWN
BOOBY feeding with Double-crested Cormorants at the TN NWR---Duck River Unit
Pump Station in Humphreys County. Ruben was at the Camden WMA looking east
towards the pump station. This is the first known occurence of this species in
the state but there have been recent sightings in AR and north MS.
Good birding!
