Birders,
I was away from home a large part of the day and when I returned I looked out
the den door to see what surprises there might be under the feeders. Yesterday
it was a skunk. Today there were five birds-2 Robins, 2 Mourning Doves, and 1
Blue Jay-lying on ant hills letting the ants do their thing (with mites I
suppose). This lasted for some time. I see this every summer in my yard and
am always amazed at how nature works and how smart birds are!
