Ranger Christine from the Reelfoot Fish and Wildlife called yesterday and reported that they had found 7 Anhingha's just off the observation tower thats off the Grassy Island road (Walnut Log Rd) today during a tour she was conducting which included two birders from Dyer co.. They were in a tree sitting close to the deck and they had good looks.They saw the straight bill . Also a large group of cormorants came in and landed in some of the othere trees and the water. They were in the company of a group of White Pelicans. I was there at sunset but no Anhinghas. Did see a small flock of W. Pelicans and some cormorants fly by.Grassy Island is in Obion Co and Brewers Bar is part of Reelfoot Lake.
