Just a note for Knox area birders -- My husband spotted an anhinga
drying its wings at 1:20 p.m. today. The bird is beside Neyland Drive
at the point that Third Creek flows into Fort Loudoun Lake, at the
edge of UT's Ag Campus and the UT Gardens. We've seen black-crowned
night herons in the past along the same creek in the early evening
hours. The greenway path beside the creek offers a nice path for
spotting birds, turtles, and fish.
