TN Birders,
It is not uncommon for me to have 12 to 15 Goldfinches eating from my thistle
feeders all day but this morning I counted 42 Goldfinches on the ground under
the feeders, in the trees, and on the feeders. I have never seen that many at
one time in my 30' x 30' backyard. I filled the feeders twice already and it
is only 10AM (CST). Most have left now. It must have been a weather thing.
My residents are still here eating away.
