The American Tree Sparrow at our place in Lewis County continues today (2/24/2015), right along the county road. It has been easy to spot on the grassy shoulder in a small group of other sparrows. Of course if anyone else actually decides to come look for it, it will immediately decide to move to the brushlands on the far side of the pond or some similarly covert place.
