Ruben and I decided to brave the incessant rain and bird Pickwick today
(Feb 28th). The private overlook south of Bruton Branch produced 7
Red-throated Loons (6 adults, 1 juvenile) and around 100 Common Loons as
well as 2 distant White-winged Scoters in the fog. The dam had an adult
Red-throated diving quite close as well, viewed from under the shelter of
the bridge, as well as continuing Glaucous and Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
