[TN-Bird] 2007 WSMV Tower Study Report, Nashville

Listed below are the bird casualties collected at the WSMV Television Tower
on Knob Hill in Davidson County, Nashville, TN during September and October
2007.  This study, which has been ongoing since 1958, was started by Amelia
Laskey and then later supervised for many years by Dr. Katherine
Goodpasture.   Birds collected are used in the teaching collection at the
Warner Park Nature Center if possible.  

 

Thanks to WSMV and the 2007 collectors Linda Kelly, Kevin Bowden, Ethel
Kawamura, Vera Vollbrecht and Chris Sloan and the helpers Bob Parrish, Deb
Beazley, Wesley Roberts, Ed Gleaves, Richard Connors, Heather Gallagher,
Diana McLusky, Susan Bradfield, Kim Bailey, John Sharlet and Jan Shaw for
making this study possible this year.
