there is no more recent version of the voicebox software is there? Or, have you chosen the rb as being just better?

I updated something about 6 months ago, and nothing changed in a big way.
Of course, the problem I was having went away, and there seemed to be a new feature or two, but it wasn't like a whole new world or anything.
Where would I find my voicebox version for you?

You're welcome! It's the latest version 3.13 from the beginning of last year.

Well it worked for me, and I assume this is the most up to date for the

plus.
Thanks Laz.

Nope these links don't expire. You have to ensure you copy the entire link
not
just a part of it. From the error message you got, it sounds like you're
only
using a part of the link which would of course come back with an error. I
tested
the link and it works fine.

The entire link is

http://www.wuala.com/TalkingMP3Players/Firmware/Clip%20Plus/.rockbox.zip/

not what you got back in the error message as below

* Make sure the web address http://www.wuala.com is correct.

You can try several things like opening it in a different page or pressing
the
applications key on it and using something like save target as or whatever
your
browser offers you, save link as or whatever.

Any how's I wonder if the download has timed out like sendspace does
after
30 days or so. Peace out!

Ok, Max,

Here's the download link for the latest firmware for the Clip Plus:

http://www.wuala.com/TalkingMP3Players/Firmware/Clip%20Plus/.rockbox.z
ip/

Move the .rockbox folder from the player to your computer and then put
the new one in its place. Safely remove the player, physically
disconnect it, and then restart the player.

Good luck,

Laz

Alright, Max.

In an effort to ensure we've identified the right model, please read
the following and then reply:

You've had a Clip Zip in the past, so you know that the power button
on the Clip Zip is centralized on the top edge of the player. Well,
the power button on the Clip Plus is off to the right on the top edge
of the player. So please tell me where the power button is on the
player you now have.

We don't want to put the wrong firmware on the player.

Regards,

Laz

The player firmware version is 3.7.1. The player is a clip plus I
believe.
It was originally bought from you back in 2011. I live in Windsor
Ontario Canada. Peace out!
