Hi Laz, I apologize, I now remember. My micro sd card was Sandisk. But indeed this player is called the Sunshine mp3 player that I was talking about yesterday. I also remember now, I must have written this email when I was super tired. I will honestly try never to write an email if I'm almost ready for bed. My apologies. Happy holidays. Now I remember, that it was some Chinese company that made this Sunshine player. It must have been! Or how would it have 1-2 kinds of Chinese on it?

I have never heard of this. and I've looked for this player on
SanDisk's site and no sign of anything called that at all.

Happy Holidays!

Hi all. Has anyone heard about the Sandisk Sunshine mp3 player? It doesn't
seem to be selling here in Canada anymore. It's an awesome player. It talks

fully. The hilarious thing about it though is it speaks in Manderin. I had
to get two people to help me fix it back to English. I like the Sansa way
better though, because it's sound is cleaner. You can raise the volume 2 or

more notches and then still have cleaner sounds.

I believe I had the Zen Stone 1GB with no radio and no speaker. This
was one of the first quote accessible unquote players I ever had.
Thanks to this player and others like it which didn't afford me much
in the way of features, I continued my search and finally tried
Rockbox... And here we are today.

Happy Holidays!

What's a Zen Stone?

Please go check out my website: http://blindnesseraserblog.wordpress.com
which has lots of different info on a number of topics for blind and
visually impaired people and which I have recently redone. Also please
check out my low traffic mailing list:
//freelists.org/list/erasingblindness where we can talk about
anything related to blindness. Thank you.

There's no speech. Think of it like a larger Zen Stone, and no, it
doesn't play audible content, just MP3 files.

But if it does not have rockbox, what does it use for its speech? Or
is it one of those screenless players like the zenstone?

From the price, I doubt it has either. The description doesn't mention
rockbox or on board memory like all the other MP3 players do on Laz's
site.

If you get the player while the sale is still on, you get a wall charger
(normally 10.99), so the player itself only costs you $9.00; How can
you
beat that? Micro sd cards have come down in price quite a bit from what
I
remember prices being like. I just bought one of these players today, I
thought it was a great deal at $19.99 even without on board memory or
Rockbox.
