Laz: You are correct! The Vocalizer voices are not SAPI5 compatible at all and are only directly supported by JAWS. No other screen reader or SAPI5 utility would see them at all. Thanks

Original message:
Are you sure they aren't the Vocalizer voices that came with JAWS
version 10 and above instead? They later made those Vocalizer voices
downloadable from the FS site.

I don't recall 64 bit versions of the SAPI5 voices being given out,
just 32 bit. The RealSpeak voices which came with JAWS 8 and 9 were
SAPI5 and 32 bit. Afterward, they were Vocalizer voices and were tied
to JAWS use only. So, it does sound like you've got the Vocalizer
voices and not the SAPI5 voices.

I was going through a bin tonight and load and behold, I found my real speak

disk, and it is 64 bit not the 32 bit version.
So I installed it, Although I see the real speak sapi 64 bit under jaws now,

I do not see it under the tts settings in the control panel.
Laz I tried the command to get them to show up as you directed with kate
for k1000, however still cannot see them there.
Any ideas?
