Sure, Roy.

On my computer, I have a USB headset plugged into one of the uSB
ports. I also have a patch cable connected to the audio in jack on the
back of the computer. If I want to listen to the MP3 player at the
same time as the screen reader and other sounds from the computer, I
just have to connect it to the patch cable, turn it on, and listen.
This is how I recorded some of the podcasts in which the MP3 player
was recorded along with the screen reader and my voice from the
headset.
