Folks, please do not follow this suggestion from Chris. The memory on your players and microSD cards is very different from the magnetic hard drives used in Computers. Defragging is meant for those drives which are magnetic in nature and not any other type of storage medium. I have heard that defragging storage mediums such as a microSD card, USB sticks, the SDD drives used in computers, or yes, your player, is unnecessary and can shorten the life of the storage medium. So to reiterate, please do not follow this suggestion.
