Hi Laz,

Thanks for this marvellous info.  You are the tops, the Ace of Spades!

I managed to get the Micro Soft Platform US English voices set up just
like you instructed.  They actually worked!
I have also listened to the audio tutorial for the creating voice and
talk files and thought it was simply great.  Before I try out the
Rockbox utility, which I have installed, I will have to go over the
tutorial once again to make sure I know what I am doing and not
messing up things  I will do this tomorrow when I get some more time
for it.
