Hello Roy,

Hopefully you disconnected the player from the computer before
attempting to reset it by holding down the power button, otherwise you
wouldn't have reset it. You can do as Bobby suggested and you can also
try using a different USB port. Another thing you can do is to delete
the driver that Windows so miserably failed to set up or keep from
getting corrupted and then connect the player and let Windows set the
driver up anew. If this is the first time connecting the player to a
Window 7 computer, then it's something one can expect to happen about
50% of the time. you can avoid this by turning the player on first and
then connecting it.
