I have used it, but I am used to doing such work. When I did do this, I used a toothpick to apply the glue; That way only the bit on the end of the tooth pick went where the glue was supposed to go, and not a huge lot from the tube itself. One has to be quick, because it sets in seconds.

I don't know if it's still available, but they did make a product to dissolve Superglue type adhesives in the past. But of course the best policy is to not get it on anything else than where you want it. As Jason said, it could spell the end of your player if it gets into the controls and such.
